OUTCOME: Froch by 12th Round KO
ANDY'S PICK: Taylor by Decision
THE PAYOUT:
-5 Units
This matchup simply comes down to resumes. Carl Froch has fought nobody and Jermain Taylor has fought everybody.
In his last fight with Jeff Lacy, Taylor appeared to be in championship form and I expect him to be as hungry for this win as any in his career. While Froch has demonstrated impressive power against second tier opponents, Taylor has gone the distance twice with Bernard Hopkins and once with Kelly Pavlik. I think Taylor will dominate this bout with his jab, keeping Froch's assaults at bay and landing strong right hands when he finds the range. While I don't rule out a Taylor stoppage, Froch has an excellent chin and Taylor doesn't even knock out middleweights. In the end, Jermain Taylor will score an easy unanimous decision on superior boxing skills and experience.
The way to bet this fight is 5 units on Taylor by decision at +150. Froch has never been hurt and he's a big super middleweight. On top of that, Taylor hasn't scored a knockout in over four years. As far as Taylor tasting the canvas, Froch doesn't have one punch knockout power, and since I don't expect him to be able to find Taylor very often I don't think he'll have the opportunity to wear him down with accumulation. Good luck!

you know andy everytime you pick winners in any fight your credibility sunks.. I think you better analyze things and possible scenarios, not predict fights..Because in boxing anything can happen. Look at what happens to Taylor.. See.
