OUTCOME: Golota by Unanimous Decision
ANDY'S PICK: Golota by Knockout
THE BET: THE PAYOUT:
4.0 Units on Golota at +160
6.4 Units
Well I'm pretty much putting myself out there to be made a fool of with this prediction, but unless Golota has another nervous breakdown or goes on one of his famed testicle hunts, he should knock Mollo's block off by the eighth round. I know Golota is 40, but even at 50 I would expect him to take out a man who was put to sleep in the fourth round by a 38 year old DaVarryl Williamson and who recently struggled to get an eight round decision against Zack Page. Actually the only good thing I can say about Mollo is that it took him four less rounds than Golota to put the lumbering Kevin McBride out of his misery. Golota knows this fight is a do or die situation and I expect him to come out blasting. They say that the last thing to go in a heavyweight is his power and I would venture that Golota still has one of the strongest right hands in boxing. Also you can't discount the Pole's boxing ability, which he so brilliantly displayed until his meltdown in Bowe I and II. I think if he uses it effectively, Andrew can win this fight on his underrated jab alone. He was robbed in decisions against both Ruiz and Byrd, both small heavyweights like Mollo, and compared to those former champions, Mollo is a bum. Barring a psychiatric episode from the Polish brawler I would expect this one to be easy for Golota, and depending on how dramatic his victory is, even at 40, he will once again have to be considered a contender in this joke of a heavyweight division.

No question that win-win is the way to go, this is how I do it for myself and the people I work with :-) Sadly there are bad apples everywhere, and you can only hope that they will learn one day that this is not the right way to do things. Until then, the best is to stay away from these type.
